Με την προτεινόμενη τροποποίηση, ο Κανονισμός 22– αθλητικές κολυμβητικές δεξαμενές , καλύπτει όλων των ειδών εγκαταστάσεις των αθλητικών κολυμβητικών δεξαμενών (όχι μόνο τις μηχανολογικές) και θα πρέπει να διευκρινιστεί ποιες Υπηρεσίες θα έχουν την ευθύνη του ελέγχου της συμμόρφωσης αυτών των κολυμβητικών δεξαμενών με τον Κανονισμό 22.
Ως εκ τούτου, θα πρέπει να προστεθεί νέα επιφύλαξη στο τέλος του Κανονισμού 22 με το ακόλουθο κείμενο:
«Νοείται ότι, στο στάδιο εκπόνησης των μελετών των αθλητικών κολυμβητικών δεξαμενών, θα πρέπει οι Μελετητές να λαμβάνουν την απαραίτητη τεχνική καθοδήγηση και απαιτήσεις που προκύπτουν από τις πρόνοιες των παραγράφων (α), (β) και (γ) από τις οποίες πιθανόν να προκύπτουν πρόσθετοι όροι λόγω αθλητικών απαιτήσεων, και με την ολοκλήρωση των εργασιών θα πρέπει να λαμβάνεται η έγκριση του Κυπριακού Οργανισμού Αθλητισμού».
